Sometimes people like to do stupid thing. I remember i tried a few time in my life to stare at the sun and what happened was i lost my sign in the sunlight and i regretted that i did it.
Chances are around out life. You will smile when the good one is coming for you. But contradictions are around us too. People like to contradict themselves sometimes for no reason just like why i stared at the sun even i knew it might hurt my eyes? And also they like daydreaming to leave the reality and seeking for a moment from the past, the future and the unreality.
Dissatisfactions accompany with me as the time moving on since i have so much undone left behind. Rather than suspecting the unfairness and being frustrated, I would like to daydream a while to comfort myself and then come back to the reality. It is a good way to erase the pain and go for a happy life

Winter, summer, rainy season

Change, dress, pattern.

This poem reflects how we here in New York have three seasons: “Winter, summer, rainy.” Usually all the seasons have a great impact on us. Every season comes to us with its own characteristics. They do not have any voice, and they do not command us. However, without saying anything they affect us a lot. For example, the line “Change, dress, pattern” means that we have to change when the weather changes. When winter appears to us with its lazy and chilly look, it tells us to wrap up ourselves with heavy clothes. To keep ourselves safe and warm, we follow its silent command. On the other hand, summer comes to us with a very different look than winter. It tells us to wake up and put those heavy clothes in our closet. This is the time for colorful and light dresses. It tells us to be lively and interesting like nature. The rainy season presents itself in a very different way. Sometimes it combines itself with the characteristics of both winter and summer and sometimes requires people to carry an umbrella. In the rainy season, sometimes we wear clothes that are neither heavy or light, but in-between. Basically the poem show us that to save ourselves from the hastiness of nature we need to adopt different clothing arrangements depending on the seasons. The different types of clothes represent the individual atmosphere of individual seasons.

Is it totally random?

I have had a newborn son recently. It delayed my school works. I have to manage time between my son and school. While he is adapted to the new world, his health is most concerned by our family members. Every day, we monitor the pattern of his drinking milk and bowel movement. As we watch him have a good sleep, our worry fade away. As we were told by the pediatrician, a new born baby usually has a jaundice within the first two weeks and the sun can reduce the chance of having jaundice. So we pray that it is sunny every day. Money is never out of my concern since my family is getting bigger. But all that I can do is being patient. I believe that my children will be healthy and strong and we will be financially better off in the near future.

The totally random words reflect my current and near future concern.

I wrote these ten words while I was watching vampire Diary, What I can tell from my data poetry is that life is not simply vampire and angel, black and white, good and evil. Too extreme thought will always limits some beautiful things to be created. It’s like it would be a 100% bad thing to see if a new life created by a vampire and an angel. I think people are tend to be easily influenced by the other people’ worldview throughout the history. If everyone of us followed “stand rule”, we will not view how beautiful our life are if we didn’t its bad side. I really don’t view our world as only black and white. Myself is a grey person, as a Chinese person who get most of my education form traditional Chinese education system (exam-oriented education),but right now get more education in the United State ( creation based education), I really enjoy in it. I fell understand better what is mean by grey area. All in all, life is not perfect, even that, we can always see its beautiful in a different point view.

When I close my eyes, I don’t know why these words just come out in my mind; I think they must be related to each other. People act as trees, no matter what happen in the future such as raining, windy, storm and etc. nothing can make them move. What we have experienced before make us stronger. A god is part of our family, when we live with a dog , we feel having a child must take of it very well. Happiness is one of most important things that we want to be, just like fish freely swimming under the water.

From all these words, I just realize that I came to America for ten years ago myself. I was young girl, alone, scare, and did not know where to go. I wanted to better opportunities for my life; I wanted to speak English, I wanted a good job and I did not want to be alone. Unfortunately I have no body to help me. I said myself, you brave, yes! You can do that whatever you need it just trust yourself. It will be stressful but who said that life is easy. After I though Iike that I felt brave. I believed that I can achieve my dream. Now, I am glad and I did not give up my American dream. I am still here and I trusted myself more than everything. Myself

Now if I could only write music I could make myself some money. Coming up with a word soup and then selectively arranging it seems to be the way many less musicians choose to write lyrics these days.
There is no single theme here, but here are some possible ones.
1) Flowers for dead soldiers that died as a result of the System
2) Choosing to kill the system for freedom or simply ignoring the problem and retreating.
3) Nothing ever happens on Sunday.
4) Kill to Win and get Flowers on the podium.

The Power of Nonsense

The process of really picking random words without biased personal thinking is creative and results in something unexpected. Although the words are not supposed to be connected between them or to my personal thoughts, my first reaction was to make sense and connect them to my personal life, but why should I do it? Probably, it is a natural human behaviour to interpret things from a subjective point of view. Also, why words picked up and arranged in a strictly randomly way should have an interpretation?

Since Dadaism is related to nonsense, a Dada poem doesn't necessarily needs to have a particular interpretation; therefore, finding an interpretation to a Dada poem would go against Dadaism. Anyway, a basic interpretation trying to make sense linking all the words in my Dada poem would be something like this: Riding a taxi I see a KFC, while many homeless people exhibited at shelters make me think that buying food for them should become the beginning of activism. After all, it has a strong message taken from a nonsense arranged words.

Examining the results, I think that my recent existential struggles have transcended themselves into this poem. The first line represents my feelings of oneness, wanting to make plans to change and the unknown that’s waiting ahead. The second line might be symbolic of things I need to overcome or achieve to get to where I want to be. I think the last line speaks for my very nature; being both a creative person and a perfectionist, I can agree that I’m constantly trying to make things into what they can be, rather than what are. And I’m often alone in my way of thinking which can cause daily friction because I assume a certain level of quality or aesthetic should be present.

Life is not what you think it is. We seek authority to make the badness go away. However, people are treated as scapegoats when things are bad for the authorities. Can we truly trust anyone then? Movies are a chance for escape. What good is living if we are like tiny creatures upon the colossal universe? I often sit and think about what am I doing right now, what should I be doing, or what do I plan on doing later in my life. I'm still young though, I have much more time to think about what will make me feel complete.

Death signifies the end and the beginning of life. Despite the variances in our attitudes toward death, one thing about it remains constant - it is the opposite of our current state. But what exactly is our current state? Sure we are alive but what defines being alive? Is it merely the pulsating of blood in our veins and the constant traveling of electrical currents throughout our flesh? Yes of course; but what else? Need there be something else or are we perfectly content with the mechanical workings of our physique? I say no we are not! We are constantly in search of patterns as a way of imposing order on otherwise chaotic universe. We are continuously  in search of something more meaningful than mere tangible properties; something that defines our existential wisdom. That something is not anything evident. That is, there isn't empirical data that can describe it and categorize us in accord with it. It is an innate force that is the core essence of our existence. At times we find it to be peculiar and maybe even painful and confusing. So, we end up pulling ourselves from one end of our emotional pallet and we push ourselves onto the other end - retreating to the end that is filled with happiness, lust and evermore profound love. Thus, akin to revolving doors we are constantly spinning around and in doing so we are creating the complex state of our existence at any given point in time.

Many immigrants believes that what they seeking in this new country is better education, better job, but I feel what I am looking for is how to improve myself from not only from brain but from heart as well. Perhaps I was born to have a high value on the concept of love, so the first line I wrote brave, optimize and affection, to be brave is always easy to say but difficult to carry out, and everything is need to be more effective. The second line is also about the cockles of the heart, but I wrote “appearance” because nowadays it pretty much important than any time in mankind history. The third line is about sensation and behavior. I wrote “villainy” probably because inside myself there is a little evil one and always try to get out. I feel some of my action is very mysterious because even myself sometimes do not understand why I am doing it. And faithfulness, somehow I doubt it, but I still remember it all the time.

I went to the fashion magazine website and write down the word each second I saw. The setences of its formation is my poem in Dadaism. It is more sence than I expect to be. I interpret it as the trend of shopping fashion is dominant especally shop beauty. I have to find a way to complete my responsibilities so I can develop into a successful human being in the future. But with all the work mounting on top of me and the clock still ticking, I must find a balance between work and leisure; I cannot totally neglect my love but there are only so little hours to spare during the day. Making time for everything else but a beer will drive anyone insane. My presence is required in 3 different places every single day but I can only be one person. Work stress, school stress, and family stress……..I had to burn a lot of bridges to get this far but I wouldn’t trade it for the world.

I feel that life is never easy. Time flies. It never waits for you. People have to chase it. When we look back on the past, we find ourselves change lots. We are moving place to place and looking for a better life.We have to change self to adapt to a new environment. I feel like kids are so naïve. They do not really think about too much. They do not desire too much. That is why they are always happy. When we grow up, we have so many things to deal with. Things are not simple any more. We heard people always say stressful. We want to share our love. When you show your heart to people, they will respect you too. When we are in a relationship, we have to learn to love each other but not to ask your lover to change for you. We have to gain our knowledge in order to surived in our society. Love is the jugular vein of spirit that gives life to it. It does not matter what type of love or who you love but we all feel the need to belong someone. Love comes with the feelings of passion, trust, commitment, and faith which is explained by psychologists as well. However, I think there is a tiny line between love and hate and sometimes people could hate their loved ones. What turns love into hate is actually what we are. We can control our egos and immature attitudes and feelings that shut offs our love to people such as dilemmas in between events and people, thrill that makes us feel we would have been left by our loved ones one day, and eventually hate comes after all. I believe people cannot live without these feelings as a combination. Though these sound little frightening, that is what makes us humans. I love love!

April 22 the day my son was born, i felt i was reborn with him. I had chance to hold
him for couple of seconds but it was the most special moment of my life. Every time i
hug my son it is like a magic works. The relationship between mother and child is so

mother and child. A mother's love for their child is endless. No matter how much struggle i will
face on my life. But every time i see my son's face, i feel more strong and brave. If any of

I gazed around my study and my eyes feel upon these random words -- from my vision board to the magazine rack -- no physical surface with words was spared. However, when the words were put together I had thoughts of worthiness, beauty, the definition of beauty, and what some people may sacrifice for their desired perception of beauty. Of course my ideas were also linked to the recession. In a world where unnecessary plastic surgery is as common as the flu, introspection maybe a partial cure to a society fixated in superficiality. To me it is impactful and focuses on the extreme worth of each individual. In the end, accepting one's beauty and knowing one's worth is superb --knowing that one's worth is not defined by beauty is a bonus!

Usually when we think about relationships, family, parents, and friendships the main things that come out are love, happiness, and peace. Sometimes there are really hard situations that bring out many feelings that we don’t know they exist in ourselves. Hate can be one of those feelings. When we are in any relation, we never think hate could happen, but it does; and sometimes it is even stronger then love. It is incredible how feelings can change at any moment. As soon as I read the words, I thought how many different kinds of feelings can be involved in any relationship. There is something very important that I realize. It is in the last line. Faith can overcome hate. Faith can be the key in keeping loyal to any relationship.
