Being an independent female, I have had many difficulties to come by on my own. I believe this poem represents the tight rope that a female walks when trying to balance her weight of motherhood and professionalism. The first line represents the female's gift of life and survival. The second line represents the power that a female lacks and tries to overcome in a man controlled world. The third line represents the female's strength of emotion and compassion. We females go through a lot. We will cry, we will pull ourselves back together, and we will grow as a stronger flower everyday.
